SMALL BIZ: BIG GOALS Workshop, Nov 13, 6-8 p.m.

It’s usually other entrepreneurs that understand the sheer weight of the day-to-day operations, bills, expectations, and the daily grind. As a fellow entrepreneur, I’m here to tell you that I get it. It’s sometimes hard to look at the big picture when you have a busted pipe, or spinning plates, to take care of. However, I urge you to take the time now, to build a foundation for growth (and to save you some time in other ways.) Let me explain…

As Chris and I work the day-to-day, we also take time to look at the big picture. Even though we are a small business, we have core values, a strong brand, and a strategic plan. Read the core values that drive us. As we developed these pieces I realized the big business version of these practices needed some tweaking to fit our small business model. So, I adjusted the standard approach to work for our model and now I’m offering a workshop to teach it to others. Want to know more about my background? Read about my book smarts and street cred. Read on to learn how developing these pieces can save you some time.

Are you a small business owner? What sets you apart is WHY you do what you do. Have you clearly defined that with your team and for your customers, guests or clients? What if I told you that developing a set of core values could help you attract retain and engage your team (not only saving you time but also building a kick ass foundation for your business.)

Engage, Retain, Attract

“Employees that believe in core values of a company, 51 times more likely to be fully engaged at work” —Forbes

“Employees who fit well with their organization, coworkers, and supervisor had greater job satisfaction, were more likely to remain with their organization, and showed superior job performance. “ —Radford University

“The likelihood of job turnover at an organization with high company culture is a mere 13.9 percent, whereas the probability of job turnover in low company cultures is 48.4 percent.”—Columbia University

Signup for my small business core values class to learn from start to finish how to develop your own core values. This workshop is a train the trainer approach so you can lead your team in the development of your company’s core values. I give you the step-by-step version for small business that I custom created from basic big business practices. I also give you the digital templates that you can customize for your own use.

At the end of this class you will have your step-by-step plan for developing your core values with your team wether that’s 2 people or 20!
