What if a group of women, that didn’t know each other, gathered around a table to break bread and connect with one another? I’m having dinner at Commonwealth Bistro on Thursday, November 8, 6:30-8 p.m. and I would like you to join me. No tickets, just a simply RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by Oct 15, so I know how many seats to reserve. You can order off the menu and each person has their own check. Simple!
I partnered with, Dr. Angie Taylor from Taylor Career Strategies, to create a free women's networking event. We designed this event to happen each quarter. The premise is simple, we offer free coffee, free plays on the vintage jukebox, and space to network with other women. The event is totally free (including free street parking!) We are in year two, and the crowd keeps getting more energetic! Join us for the next Happy Hour on Nov 1, 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Commonwealth Bistro.
12 Women Connector Series
As part of my 2018 goals, I set the intention to meet twelve new women. I simply invited them to coffee via email. No hidden agenda or sales pitch here. I just wanted to expand my network; and hear about what women are doing. I have 2 spots left for 2018 if you want to join me, reach out. Be sure to put "12 Women" in the subject line.
Women Entrepreneurs in Covington
I was inspired, a couple weeks ago, by an Instagram post from Katy Bialczak. She asked women from our area to "shout out" to their favorite women-owned business. As I responded, I thought of all of the amazing women running businesses in our community of Covington, Kentucky. There were so many, that I decided to create an unofficial list here.
